What is Grilla?

Grilla is an innovative new esports tournament platform that enables organizers to give players the opportunity to compete more frequently, for bigger prize pools, and in a way that brings fans closer to the competition.

Who can organize tournaments on Grilla?

Grilla is open to anyone to organize! No approval process required. Start creating your own tournament now!

Can I raise money for my prize pools directly on Grilla?

Yes! Grilla offers the option to crowdfund prize pools through the community. You can enable this by selecting "Percentage Based Prizes" on the tournament creation form.

What games are offered on the Grilla platform?

Grilla currently supports tournaments across a variety of single player titles. More titles will be added over the coming months. To stay up to date on the latest game additions and tournaments, sign up here.

Can I suggest games for Grilla to support?

If a game you organize for, or want to raise awareness for, isn't available on our platform please create a support ticket through our Discord and a member of the team will be in touch with you.

What is your Tournament Organizer program?

Grilla offers sponsorships to select TOs to help grow their operation and brand. If you are interested in getting sponsored please fill out a partnerships form and we'll get in touch with you.

What forms of payments / how can I deposit and withdraw money?

Funding & withdrawing money from your Grilla wallet can be performed by linking directly to your bank account via ACH. We will be accepting major credit cards in the coming months.

How long will it take for a player to receive prize money?

Transfer of prize money to a winning participant's Grilla Wallet occurs instantly upon the tournament being moved to completion by the Tournament Organizer.

In rare cases where a tournament requires an investigation, due to charges of cheating or similar, it can take up to 14 days to reach a decision and payout winnings.

How does Grilla ensure security of Grilla Wallet funds and prize money?

Grilla is the only esports tournament platform that has implemented Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) security checks for all users engaging with funds on our platform.

Prize Pool dollars never leave the platform while they are in play. TOs cannot withdraw prize pools or withhold distribution to winning participants. The funds are held in a custodial account and prize distribution to participants is automatically triggered by tournament completion.

Who is eligible to participate in tournaments on Grilla?

Cash Prize/Entry Fee Tournaments:

Individuals who are above the age of 18, and U.S. residents of the following states:

Cashless Tournaments:

No age restrictions. Eligible in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and internationally.

What are Grilla Challenges?

A feature that enables a tournament participant to compete for money against their opponent in an individual match.

Who is eligible to create a Challenge on Grilla?

Game-of-Skill Challenges are allowed to be created by users over the age of 18 and residing in one of the following states:

How to create a Grilla Challenge?

The Tournament Organizer must enable this feature when creating the tournament for players to access it. If Grilla Challenges are enabled for your tournament you will see the option to create a challenge on the tournament page.

What happens if I think someone is cheating?

If you suspect there was cheating in a match, please create a support ticket through our Discord with the following information included:

  • Tournament Name
  • Date of Match
  • Participants in Match
  • Participant(s) Committing Offense
  • Additional Details

What happens in the event of a technical failure that disrupts tournament play?
