Rowdies Gaming North American Championship

The Rowdies Gaming North American Championship is an online eSports tournament competing in FIFA 23 open to players residing in the United States and Canada, aged 13 years and older. Players must have an active PlayStation Plus online account in good standing to participate.

Winning the Rowdies Gaming North American Championship will enter you into the Regional Championship Event held later this year on September 9th, 2023 at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, FL.

We will be following the general format of the Champions League with slight modifications featuring a Group Stage of 8 groups down to a top 16 team knockout. Group Stage Games will be Best of 1 with the top 2 teams of each group moving onto the Round of 16 where the rest of the games up to the Finals will be Home & Away games. The Finals will conclude as a Best of 1 match live on Twitch.

The Dates for the North American Championship are as follows:

July 8 – (Day 1) Group Stage July 9 – (Day 2) Round of 16 July 15 – (Day 3) Quarter Finals Part 1 July 16 – (Day 4) Quarter Finals Part 2 July 22 – (Day 5) Semi Finals & Finals

The Final will be broadcasted live on the Tampa Bay Rowdies Twitch page.

The following settings are to be used in all Match play during the Online Qualifier Rounds and Finals Event:

• Game Mode: FIFA Ultimate Team • Match Duration: 12 minutes (6 minutes per half) • Controls: Any • Game Speed: Normal • In case of draw (Knockout Stage Only): Extra Time and penalties (if needed) • 2 Loan Players per Squad (Max)
